I hope you know how grateful I am for this knowledge it is going to give me so much leverage in this divorce. I am an empathetic person my mind is not wired the way his is, I don’t try to gain my own selfish needs and wants by manipulating others I just don’t understand how someone could enjoy living their life this way with so much hate evil and deception when someone you claim to love chooses compassion kindness and forgiveness. I’m in the smear campaign part of our break up and he has a handful of people believing these things but I don’t give it my energy because I do stay grounded in my truth. I know who I am and that’s what matters. I am not longer offering him cooperation through empathy I am going cold, I have to just keep it facts and keep it short no emotions. Thank you

In all honesty, I have no idea how this video hasn't come across my feed before as I've been all over the web in search for stuff that was more in line with my intuition on a more spiritual level, not a cognitive one, with regards to the psychological make up of a narcissist and empath. Beware the narcissist who presents as an empath. You will be sucked into her game, and all efforts at reason on your part will be gaslighted into convincing you that you are the narcissist. Most narcissists are excellent at zeroing in on whatever narcissistic traits we each have, and taking it and running with it, until we’ve been cast as a full blown narcissist.. It is true that confusion is the primary tactic to gain power, demonstrating that the underlying motivational force driving a narcissist is feelings of powerlessness and inferiority. Any boasting or grandiosity is merely overcompensation.
