thanks for also showing us your weaknesses! it's reassuring to know that you can do a whole bunch of stuff with enough practice. setting realistic gradual goals and keeping track of progress is also perfectly showcased. and thanks for reminding us that people still need to practice a little to not lose what they gained!

This was helpful to see ... watching you taking a moment to self evaulate gives me a chance to see where I've improved and where I can continue to improve my mobility. Fun side note - turns out my cat enjoys watching you move, too. :)

Doing the splits with your back leg flexed and your shin propped up against a wall is a great progression for the front splits before getting into the over splits, as it forces you into more internal rotation of the back hip so you can square your hips more and stretch your hip flexor.

Great video!❤

5:15 This used to be my default sitting position when I was a kid, it just seemed normal to me. At some point (I don't remember when exactly), someone told me that sitting like that was bad for my knees, so I had to learn how to sit like other people. Thinking back on it now, it does explain why internal rotations are easier for me (I'm pretty stiff when it comes to external rotations in comparison). Recently I've been working on regaining my strength in that area, I still have most of the flexibility but it's hard for me to hold that position for as long as I used to.

As someone living with scoliosis, the back stretches are painfully relatable

I like that your honest about your progress in the path towards flexibility, your videos have helped me immensely in my own journey into flexibility with invaluable pointers on how to improve, can't wait to see how far this journey goes, great video.

5:18 its so crazy how everyone body starts off with different flexibility because my natural sitting position my entire life has been w sitting and deep squats but i cant do any splits no matter how much ive trained for it so far and bridges feel like my arms are going to pop off but i can turn my shoulders backwards without any discomfort

I am overwhelmed how many rotations and combinations you could train and I don't know what would be a good all around training.

I just saw the thumbnail pic and the question. Trust this old ballerina with a replaced pelvis and a hysterectomy: Your range of movement is than enough to be considered super flexi and enough to have a healthy future. The turn out of this straightened leg crosses the line😣. Take care, David🧛🏻‍♀️🖤.

Hello, would you be so kind please to answer if you can do Nordic curls?
And do you think this exercise is even necessary in any way or just an ego thing?

Hey. I’d like to start on getting more flexible. Which video of yours or routine can I do everyday which will make my whole body more flexible. Love your content! Keep it up!

5:10 Thats so interesting because I grew up sitting W style instead of criss cross (which is known to cause some issues) and I can internally rotating my leg all the way till my foot it past my face, but forget about butterfly sitting cause that is so stiff for me.

Pancake flexibility 😂

Oh God the crunchiness of your shoulder rotations 😬

Hip flexors are the bane of my existence

I have a question, I had to stop all working out and sports due to a shoulder injury relating to my hyper mobility. I have not been able to strengthen my shoulder since, and when I try to it just pops out. Do you have any recommendations on what exercises I can start with to strengthen my shoulders?

As a dancer, I am extremely jealous of your external hip rotation lol. I can do splits and back stretches all day, but when it comes to turnout, she’s barely there 😅
