Great video Max. I can relate to having to use dairy to keep my weight up on carnivore, being 5'10" and only 145lbs naturally with a tiny appetite, I would suffer in the winter months being so thin.
I can only manage two half pound steaks a day before complete satiety, but by adding butter and a smoothie of yoghurt and egg yolks I now carry a very welcomed extra 7lbs and life is definitely better

Dairy doesn't bother me the least. But I don't eat alot of it. Cream in my coffee and maybe a little cheese sometimes.

Raw milk I had as a child as my grandparents were dairy farmers. In Canada raw milk is not lawful. I would so love to have raw milk. I am a year and a half on my carnivore lifestyle journey. I don't drink milk very often and I was a daily milk drinker with almost all my meals. I use pasteurized heavy cream in my coffee which I have not restricted, I have a fair amount of cheese. My why for carnivore lifestyle was for mental health issues which has improved greatly. My side effect is weight loss, off all meds for bp, atrial fib, blood thinners, depression. 256lbs now steady at 180 6'2". Was a 68 year old fat depressed old man
Now a 69 year young man. I enjoy your videos and I agree with your facts on dairy.

Just completed 90 days strict Meat, water, tea (with a splash of milk) milk, cheese and eggs. First month never lost as much as I would like so stopped the cheese and milk. At the end of 90 days I have lost 2!!! Stone. So happy and feeling so good. I am now 1 stone from my realistic goal weight..but if and when I get there ? I may try to lose another stone. Love this way of eating...

4+ years low carb/carnivore here. I have eaten full-fat dairy the entire time with zero problem. I do avoid milk due to the carbs but yogurt, cheese, cream are all on my daily diet card. My weight and fitness goals have been met (and exceeded) for some time now.

I discovered that eating butter on the carnivor diet helps me fall asleep and stay asleep.

I eat carnivore with cheese and double cream. I’m losing weight very fast. Wondering if I should add whole milk back to try and put weight on? I don’t want to have >20g carbs a day as I want to have a GKI <1 for ketogenic metabolic therapy.

This is why I enjoy your videos so much. SO much information and presented in a way we can understand. I stopped drinking milk at age 20 but I have eaten yogurt I ferment as well as cheese to this day.

I felt awesome with cheeses and double cream, clotted cream, raw milk... but it stalled out fat loss and made me gain. I had to cut it out - yet still maintain high fat because I'm carnivore for my lifelong epilepsy, so plenty of fatty meat and eggs and beef fat. So, if I can get to my ideal weight to height, I may add dairy back. Just a little though. It's powerful stuff!!

Raw milk last a long time than you think. After a while it tastes sour because it’s turning into Kefir. Then it turns into yogurt. Then turns into cheese. So it lasts longer than pasteurised milk.

I was away on holiday recently. The day after my home arrival, I went to have some coffee and did not have any cream. So, I took a dive and added some butter. What a difference. Butter is, after all, made from cream, so why not? Has a mild sweetness and nutrients. 😄 (December 10, 2024)

Nice one Max. My observation on sugar in coffee. I am just hitting the 6 yr mark, and sometimes do that 1/4 tsp. of sugar in coffee. It is addictive, and I'll do that for a couple of days. However my back teeth will start to hurt by then and I stop. Somewhere I read that the micro-tubule pores in teeth usually flow out, but with sugar they suck in, taking up the sugar. Might be a fun investigation to see if that's true.

Another great video, Max! Thank you! Dairy is so delicious...I have been at a weight loss stall, as you said, and realized I was smothering every meal in delicious cheese. I stopped 2 weeks ago. We'll see what happens...I know I should cut out the lattes as well, but one thing at a time ;) ;) About 8 more pounds to go.

I wonder if you have an explanation for this question... for a while now since adopting a meat eggs and dairy diet, iv noticed when i consume dairy, particularly blue cheese, camembert or brie... my morning glory is let's say, much extra and takes longer to go down 😂
I wondered if the k2 in cheese was allowing for better blood flow but I can't find any evidence to back that up.
Do you have any information on why this happens?

Goat and sheep fermented dairy is what my body handles best.
Meat is hard for me to digest even with the acid, ox bile and enzymes. Don't know if I can call myself carnivore but I eat only animal protein.
Yes I am gaining rather than losing weight.
Trying to control the quantity is the best I can do... Sweets don't attract me but salty feta cheese I can eat non stop.
Yes, addictive!

Is non homogenised milk (not raw) any better than regular milk? Called cream on top in Australia.
