Use either a figure 8 wrap around your arm or an over/under coil technique to coil the rope. The final wrapping method to secure the coil is fine.

There is a better way to do it so its easy to uncoil it:
Instead of wrapping around something you just have to do the length you want in one direction and then you twist the rope so it goes in the opposite direction then you continue to the starting position and continue in that direction and do the same lenght and the same twist the rope for the end you leave some rope and do it the way you want it to be
When untieing the knot it wont be tangled
