I am 90% carnivore now but do small amounts of peppers, herbs, cheese and some nuts but cut back on the nuts and cheese as they were making me fat. Feel way better!

Ghee is surprisingly low in flavor compared with butter. Some flavor, but it’s almost a neutral cooking fat. When pastured butter is on sale, I buy four pounds and make just under two quarts of ghee from it.

I personally love salt and eat Liver most days. I mix 1 lb ground liver to 3 lbs ground beef and make burgers and or meatballs and have that for lunch 4-5 days a week. The other days I mix 1 can of salmon or tuna and 1 or 2 cans of sardines and an egg and make a large patty and fry it, if I have time I will crush some pork rinds mix in a little cheese and use it as breading for the fish patty.

I'm disabled so not too active and I've lost 80#'s on carnivore combined with we'll use the buzz phrase intermittent fasting. I'm 6' tall, in my late 50's and now 180#'s....haven't seen that since I was in my early 20's. Carnivore works, it's real and there's nothing tricky...in fact it's the opposite. So simple and straight forward. I never get tired of eating beef; the challenge is not eating all the things around you that others are eating. If I lived in a bubble, this would be easy to maintain but our social lives revolve around eating and we are being bombarded with advertising.

I used to really like salmon until I became carnivore. After about six months, I couldn't eat it anymore. I had to give it away. I also used to eat chicken but it doesn't appeal to me either. Basically all cuts of beef, pork, bacon, eggs, and sausage. I'll just take the Fish oil capsule.

I wouldn't say butter is a requirement since you can Air Fry steak. Even lean steaks have fat.

I eat mostly beef and eggs.. but I still love salads once in a while. And I use about half of the dressing package.
Carnivores have told me that's bad but oh well!

I eat red meat eggs butter salt raw milk and Raw Honeycomb but honeycomb only on days I lift so every 4 days.

I’ve been carnivore for over 1 years & I felt great till August when I had a bowel obstruction- masses were colon cancer but I am cancer free. I had a colostomy reversal 3 months ago. Trying to master carnivore again-side affects now are nausea whenever I am hungry /night sweats affect my sleep adversely…Any insight or ideas on how I can make carnivore work again?
