*2024 Update* Feel free to keep your monitor refresh rate set to your monitor's refresh rate that it is rated at. There was an update that allowed the higher fps to work better so 120, 240, or whatever hz you run at just cap your fps to the number that your monitor is rated for.

I litteraly went from having 55 fps on the lowest possible settings to over 100 with every setting maxed out. I have no idea why or how this happened but I am eternally grateful for your help. Thank you

Just wanted to say this works for AMD as well without capping the frames. The one step you showed with changing it to 0 changed everything. Thank you for this video very helpful and informative!

Thank you for the video I finally came back to 76 on PC after a couple years on console.
I would get constant 14fps in certain areas and now the same areas are 45-60 and make the game more enjoyable rather than frustrating trying to hit enemies at 14 fps.
I can’t thank you enough 🎉🎉🎉

Wow, I didn't think I would see such a huge change but this is amazing. I went from 38-45 in boss fights to a smooth 60. Thank you so much for this!

I first ran the game just now and it was already unplayable, now it runs so smoothly that it's my brain the one that can't take it! Thank you so much

Hey man, seriously THANK YOU. I went from a miserable 30fps (and very unstable) to 150-200fps and buttery smooth! I can finally play this game now. Thanks again!
