I take high doses vitamin d been taking for 20 plus year’s living with MS . Completely happy to be keeping healthy and vitamin D part of my daily supplements I take . I take between 5000 and 10000 ius 🙏 as UK sunshine not that great !

I was dangerously low at the beginning of my MS. So after my medical vitamin D doses, I have been taking 5, 000/day per my neurologist. Sometimes I take 10, 000iu. All since 2010.

I also eat mackerel and eggs daily 👍vitamin d so essential for an MS body, !

My Vitamin D levels were quite low after testing at my neurologists. I did some research and found the Cod Liver Oil has naturally occurring Vitamin D. So you can get the benefits of both the vitamin D and fish oil. Regular fish oil does not have the naturally occurring Vitamin D. Needs to be Cod Liver Oil. Had my vitamin D levels tested again after about 6 months and my levels were now normal and even good. I've got relapsing remitting and work from home and do not get much natural sunlight.

Sometimes nature is quite clever: Wikipedia has an informative article on light skin; usually, fair-skinned people in cold climates don't need much vitamin D.

My doctor in Ukraine says that I don't need any vitamins and it's all unproven and doesn't work :D
