Ive bought nothing but Volkswagens for the last 3 decades and have driven hundreds of thousands of miles in different models with little to no major issues mostly wear and tear 🤷🏽‍♂️I currently have a 2018 Tiguan and I’m at about 52k it’s been a gem reliable would be an understatement, 2 kinds of cars in the world VW and the rest 😁 great review by the way 💯

I forgot to add previously that I have a 2019 7-seater 4-wheel drive DSG Tiguan since new, and I've not had the slightest problem with it apart from replacing the wiper blades every year which I've always done with every car I've ever owned.

I love my 22 Tiguan S in white. About 17, 000 miles so far and no issues. I change the oil every 4000 miles

Two aspects of Volkswagens are very attractive. First is the 4 year, 50k mile bumper to bumper warranty. That's longer & better than that found in Toyotas, Hondas, Fords etc. Second is the standard safety features. For example, a new base Volkswagen Jetta is cheaper than a new base Toyota Corolla but the Jetta comes standard with blind spot monitoring and the Corolla doesn't!

Was the start/stop function rough? I have a 2021 Tiguan and I hate how rough the start/start function is.

Well, I have a 2022 VW Taos SEL 4 motion and it has the same wheels as the one you just reviewed. I have about 4K on it and when I leased it the sticker price was just over 37K if I remember correctly. Anyway, my husband hates the car so we usually use his 2023 Lincoln Corsair except when it is raining or snowing. I love your reviews and hope you keep them coming.

Was thinking an SE but the S has everything we need and lots cheaper. Heated seats on the S is standard as well as collision and lane keeping.

What I’m not understanding is some 2024’s have a super updated interior with huge (too big) lcd screen and ambient lighting and then other 2024s have this interior. Anyone care to share how to get the more updated interior?
