I steam my broccoli and then pour over them roasted garlic in olive oil and sprinkle red pepper on them, wow delish!!! For the green beans, I also steam and then mix roasted garlic and almonds. For my Brussels sprouts, I only like to cut I half and salt & pepper, pour olive oil on them and bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. Wow that is one of my favorite veggies. Happy cooking!

I'm Malaysian Malay woman...a Chinese aunty age around 79 years old told me to stop eating red meat, less seafood and eat more veges. Especially leafy veges( on top ground veges). She walks to the market at her age...

Well, I love tomatoes and used to eat them daily. Cherry tomatoes were my ‘drive by’ snack: whenever I came in the kitchen, I’d grab a few.
But I have been suffering from osteo-arthosis in all my joints and.the pain was hindering my every day activities, especially in my hands. I searched hard online for natural relief and came up with some contradicting statements about tomatoes and joint pain and inflamtion. Some said tomatoes had no influence on that others said it was the first thing to strike from my diet.
So I decided to do the test and stopped eating tomatoes for a month. Last day was yesterday.
Now I know FOR SURE that tomatoes are BAD for my joints! Very bad.
I have hardly any pain in my hands, the swelling is a lot less and I don’t have to take any painkillers anymore.
All I can say is: eating no more tomatoes sure works for me!

Eat chili everyday. I cook it all the time and I've had cancer. Have salad at every meal--have not been to a drive thru fastfood in 30 yrs (no car for 20, so easy), just walk.

I love drizzling cut up tomatoes with olive oil, garlic and sea salt, then roasting it in the oven. So great on spaghetti squash with some fresh basil. I don’t even miss pasta anymore.

Slow Cook a pot of chili with kidney beans, tomato, olive oil, oregano, carrot, celery, garlic, onion, paprika powder, red bell pepper, chili powder optional ….. mushrooms are great cooked with anything. I add it to bone broth too. Medicinal mushrooms - reishi, turkey tail, chaga, can be slow cooked in a crockpot for 8 hours to make. Mushroom water extract.

Love how nature provides for all our nutritional needs. We grew eating these, all of them, even if we didn't want them. Thx for this.

My uncle in India lived over 100 and he ate lot of meat, fish, veg and whatever was given to him. But was very active. At the age of 92 he used to climb the trees to pluck fruits and was saying age is only numbers and nothing else.
