Amazing Soft & Fluffy Hot Cross Buns Recipe

It's Easter weekend and what better way to celebrate then with these classic hot cross buns but with a modern twist.

Mixing it up and adding some orange and maple bacon makes for the perfect Easter breakfast! (oh and topping the hot cross buns with the same beautiful orange and maple glaze)

Ingredients:
500g strong white flour
75g caster sugar
10g salt
10g yeast
1 orange - zest & juice (juice is used for the glaze and zest is used in the mixture)
1 egg
45g butter melted
250-300ml warm full fat milk
2tbsp all spice
1tbsp cinnamon
fresh nutmeg - or 1/2 tbsp ground nutmeg
1 pack bacon
dried fruits of your choice - add as much or as little as you want.
