Extremely soft and fluffy eggless donuts! Why didn't I know this recipe before! Incredibly Easy
📢 Ingredients
300g (2cups) Bread flour
205g (0.85cup) Milk
38g (3tbsp) Sugar
3g (1tsp) Instant yeast
3g (1/2tsp) Salt
28g (2tbsp) Unsalted butter
Cooking oil
Sugar

Frying temperature is about 160°C (320°F)

📢 Important tips
1. This recipe can make 12 donuts.
2. The milk can be adjusted appropriately, about 200-210g, dough is very soft.
3. Deep frying temperature should be about 160°C (320°F), after the oil temperature is reached, turn to medium-low heat for frying.
4. Dip the donuts in sugar when they are warm, it will be easy to coat them.
5. If you want to fry the white belt line, please do not flip the doughnuts too much. Just need to flip the doughnuts twice.

I made these today. They turned out amazing. Make sure your milk is warm (120) add the sugar and yeast and sit for 15min. The dough gets easier to work with after you let it sit. Thank you for this recipe!

Made the dough yesterday afternoon, I used a stand mixer to blend in the butter more evenly and then let the dough rise in a covered bowl overnight. This really developed the glutens nicely and made for a dough that was very easy to handle this morning. It also allowed for a really fluffy bloom once in the oil. I like the idea of letting the first side skin-up a little then flipping again to get that golden color. I recommend using caster sugar to coat them, which is plain white sugar ground in a bullet grinder to get a consistency halfway between granulated and 10x. I wish I could share a photo - they came out perfect!

Omg I didn’t know u were supposed to add warm milk so I added cold and my dough didn’t rise watch out for that guys!

Literally, just ate these, still hot and so pillowy. I rolled half in cinnamon sugar and the other half in powdered sugar. I was skeptical about such a 'wet' dough, but it came together and I will make them again... and likely again lol. Thank you
