The trick is to maintain a surplus so it's not so much eating protein right away as much as it is getting it in every few hours so your body has a constant supply. You also need protein from quality sources like meat, dairy, and eggs. Plants are great for other things but building muscle not so much

We are taught animal protein is better but its more disruptive to the Human body than vegetable protein consumption.

I call bull-One should wait one or two hours after a workout to spike HGH. then at that point one can eat to drive anabolism. Personally i sprint fasted to get rid of BCAAs and amino acids that might be driving chronic MTOR overactivation. then i eat after a few hours to drive growth while still getting the benefits of HGH. - Meat based KD sprinter
