I’m feeling so much better over the past few weeks since I stopped most carbs. I’m eating 3 oz animal food each meal with a big salad or plate filled with crispy steamed vegetables. Blood sugar way better. Blood pressure improving. Sleep improving. Brain focus improving. Less hungry and can easily do intermittent fasting.

I love my nurse practitioner. She says all the same things you are saying. She’s so down to earth and doesn’t like to prescribe pills that in most cases just masks the problems.
I’ve noticed that when I think I’m hungry, I’m really thirsty. And when I’m snacky feeling, I’m bored.

This is so true. Sometimes I feel hungry then I distract myself by doing some exercise, reading a book or something and it just does away.

I agree, Dr Boz. I’m new at this, but I understand that I must eat ONLY when hungry. Right now, I only need one meal a day (maybe two if you count the keto coffee I drink in the mornings to give me energy and to satiate my appetite. I have left many Keto groups because of all the “snacking” people post (with pictures.) People need to commit to this way of eating if they want results in their weight or health

Try a cheese stuffed olive. Basically only 2 total carbs per olive, and, you get a bit of the fermentation juice which they say is really healthy for you. I love Mezzetta stuffed feta cheese brand. Napa valley olives, hand selected, since 1935.

I made crunchy homemade dark chocolate bar without sugar add little almond and coconut. I take them as a snack. Good for heart and brain.

OMAD (6:00am breakfast) but my boredom snack is cheese, maybe a boiled egg.
I don't have a weight problem.
