"Your wig cap is showing"
"That is a amazing cosplay"
"Can I take a picture of you?"
"Can you take a picture with us?"

Person paints themselves a football team’s colors: passionate.

Person crafts armor to represent fantasy character: shunned by all but their own.

So, essentially, the more work you put in, the more jealous others become. Sounds like humans.

Attention cosplayers: if I ask who you're cosplaying as, it's usually because you look awesome and I don't know what it's from but I want to know what it's from. Also I'm socially awkward and not well versed in much of the geekdoms, so....

The best part of any convention is watching Homestuck cosplayers and people with 8-foot long wings just going to Starbucks or McDonalds

I find it funny how some people will spend 1000 dollars on a phone then question why people like to wear costumes of characters and things they love

This is especially true in the anime community. Many female characters have huge busts so its kinda hard to match the body size and also many of the have light skin so having dark skin is hard

When people ask what you're supposed to be, don't feel upset. Sometimes people are experiencing cosplay culture for the first time or experiencing all these things for the first time. Don't be upset at them for not knowing what you're supposed to be
