I live in Ventura, California. The house I'm in went from $800, 000 to $1.3 million in the last 3 years. The price increase have made it unaffordable for most people to buy a house. The weather is great. It's usually between 60F-85F all year.

We’ve had it with NY and CA, from crazy prices for everything, all the garbage they’re teaching kids in school, drug addicted homeless degenerates to just bad politics. We’ll be moving there this year and we love the fact that Texas is♦️for the most part and family values are very strong in Houston. Dont mind the higher property taxes for new builds because its used in a productive way and it will eventually come down after the bonds are paid off. I can finally drive a V8 there lol, gas is so damn cheap!! and not to mention 2nd amendment rights are protected here as well. Absolutely loved Houston when we visited last year and we cant wait to be a part of its future. God bless you and thank you for these videos.

My sister is losing sleep over the educational environment her 13 year-old is experiencing. It’s a suburban school in Temple, TX, so she thought it would be fine. Make sure you don’t just check out the neighborhood and typical stuff in your search. If you have kids, do plenty of research about the school.

Her former neighbor moved for this very reason. Her kids are now at a better school.

Funny how things work I was down in Dallas couple weeks ago working came back to NY told my wife we’re moving to Texas and now we’re selling our house and taking off

I completely agree with this CA couple. I haven’t moved to TX yet, because I’m waiting on my retirement next year, but their reasons to move there, are my reasons to move there too. I’ve been to TX three times already exploring for areas I would like to see myself living, however, have not found it yet. I’m going again on 10/28 for just the weekend to see a friend and hopefully I will come across to an area I can see myself living. In case you want to recommend any areas, I’m looking for low tax (I will be retired by the time I move), closer to a good hospital (just in case), shops, dining, freeways, born again Christian church (very important), etc. I would love to meet this CA couple maybe they can help somehow, I wished their info was posted… Great video!
