Nice presentation. Methodical, straightforward and easy to understand even if it is about 200 steps from start to finish.

It'd all be legitimate if he were only running his Proxmox on Apple hardware. If he had Proxmox running on Apple hardware, then he could install as many copies of macOS in virtual machines as he likes without breaking the Apple end-user license agreement.

I'm pretty sure his Proxmox isn't running on Apple hardware, but of course, it his choice to run Proxmox where he wants it running.

After I downloaded the vma.zst file to my local computer, I don't know how the file uploaded to Proxmox. Immediately you said "then you restore ..." I don't know how Proxmox work with vma.zst files.

Thank you for the awesome guide @HarveysVE, and the effort for the images you offer. I tried it straight away I found your video but nothing happens when I click restore. Its is not really an option for me for some reason. I tried putting the VM template into several locations but with the same result, no restore. I have re-downloaded the file, same outcome. Is there somehting I have to consider with permissions? Thank you in advance.

Is it possible on AMD Ryzen 5700G APU with integrated graphics only?

What would be useful is if you are able to tell us which laptops can support with GPU passthrough. Or maybe if there is a way for people to figure this out. Most people don't have desktop with monitor these days. Having a Proxmox server machine and then using browser from another machine is also painful.

worked fine to me. Perfomance is good but seems like sleeep mode crashed the VM, and ir hard to boot or restart with restart to proxmox
