Why I was never a Calvinist Because GOD gave me and my pastor the gift of common sense.
Why I almost left Christianity Calvinist deacons.

Calvinism has become its own religion and its defenders defend it to the point of committing idolatry.

I keep coming back to John 16:7–11. This indicates the relational need toward the sinner beyond the true effectiveness of the scriptures as found in psalm 19:7–11.

The key WORD Leighton used in regards to R.C. Sproul is "Influenced".
Leighton was influenced by Sproul which caused him to BECOME a Calvinist.
Clay is FORMED by the power of words.
We are highly influenced and influential beings that become what we FREELY EAT.
Calvinists become Calvinists by freely eating the doctrine of Calvinism...as they say, "it's a hard pill to SWALLOW".
Calvinists remain Calvinists by refusing to consider the truth and allow it to cause them to PURGE the false doctrine of Calvinism.

They refuse to SWALLOW the correction they receive because the PAIN of humility will be too much for them to bear...so, they "bear with" the spirit of Calvin that they received in the form of doctrine.

2 Corinthians 11:4
“For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”

Paul was concerned because he knew that we FREELY EAT lies because they sound so delicious and make us feel so good about ourselves.
God doesn't force-feed creatures to EAT His SEED to LIVE...He's patient and relentlessly feeds us the truth to enable us to SUBMIT and SWALLOW!

Romans 6:17
“But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.”

1 Peter 1:23
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

Ruslan And I Bump Heads At Times, But This Isn't One Of Those Times.

My problem is that i seem to be somewhere in the middle. Like i do lean to some calvinistic beliefs but then i strongly disbelieve other calvinistic beliefs.
I believe that God might plant His seed into every human heart but some people's heart is so hard that the seed of the Gospel withers soon after. Then there are people who's heart is soft enough to bear some fruit but not necessarily good enough and then there are hearts where the Gospel flourish very well and bear very good fruit.

Yet i also believe that there are individuals who are literally the elect of God and these people will most definitely bear the right fruit no matter what happens, like John the Baptist for an example, it was impossible for him to reject Gods mission and to become a drunkard and a fornicator because God himself chosed him, before he was even born, to be his vessel and be extra-ordinary righteous.

So there are some people who bear the right fruit simply because their hearts are fertile enough to do so and then there are people who are the elect, who cannot not to bear the fruit.

I do believe the bible is clear on the inability of man when Paul contrasts the nature of man without the Spirit of God vs the nature of man with the indwelling of the Spirit of God.

1 Corinthians 2:14
Romans 8:7-9

I think these text make it clear that man, without the possession of God's Holy Spirit will not accept the things of God (that includes such likes like repentance and faith) or be pleasing to God.

The one issue here is ability, does all of humanity have the ability to believe and be saved? Calvinsts would say no, scripture says yes.

John 3:17 states all of humanity (Kosmos) has the ability possibility and potentiality to believe and be saved (Sozo subjunctive mood).

Good job! So clear even a reformed person might grasp it...

I think “partial inability” (for the lack of a better term) is the most accurate. That is, some people first require supernatural intervention or a form of regeneration to believe. This is not because of their depravity, but rather, because natural man cannot grasp the supernatural things of God. The Bible also says the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. People who are more logically and rationally minded may very well need a supernatural intervention for them to believe in such supernatural things. No one has an inability to respond to the gospel but many I’d say have a disadvantage.

"God has surely promised His grace to the humbled: that is, to those who mourn over and despair of themselves. But a man cannot be thoroughly humbled till he realizes that his salvation is utterly beyond his own powers, counsels, efforts, will and works, and depends absolutely on the will, counsel, pleasure and work of Another -- God alone." ~ Martin Luther

You have hundreds of videos. Which few videos could I send to a Calvinist friend? (I’ve asked this a few times before, please answer!)

2 Thessalonians 2:13
“But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:”

BTW, Adam did hear the voice of God right after he fell!
If he was so dead and totally deprived, how did he hear the voice of God in the garden of Eden and moreover answer to the Lord?

The funny thing is that Adam and Eve did something completely else to what calvinist teaches: they understood they did wrong all by themselves. That's why they tried to hide themselves. They saw their nakedness!
But of course this is not enough for calvinists🤦🏻‍♀️

And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. John 6:65-66.
"Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
Revelation 22:11.
If these Arminian Provisionists persist in their unscriptural ways, then let them simply go their way. That is better than they stick around and metastasize the falling away that is already infecting Christ's church.

Thank GOD I'm not a Calvinist! What could be more discouraging unless I just didn't care about all the ones they believe are predestined for Hell for the glory of God?!!
