When I was a Calvinist I didn’t even want to listen to this channel because of the bias I was taught from Calvinists that non-Calvinists were “not educated enough to understand” or “we’re too emotional to accept biblical truth”.

Now that I’m not a Calvinist I see the value of this channel and the caring heart and humility that Dr. Flowers has.

I feel her pain. So much of what Alana said about leaving the Calvinistic church she loved is right where we have been over the last three years. I was an elder when a Calvinistic pastor was voted in. We stayed for a couple years and tried to talk through these differences in theology. He was happy for us to stay but we couldn't have our children and grandchildren under teaching that conflicted with our family's understanding. We didn't want the doctrinal confusion in our children. We also had the same problem with inviting new people to attend. It was heart wrenching to leave our friends after 20 years of service there. It's taken several years to stop hurting and try to move on. My wife is still afraid to re-engage in ministry. I try not to be angry but this garbage polluting plain and simple Christianity makes me angry. I don't want to see others go through what we have.

What a blessing Alana has been to me. I have been watching her channel since the beginning and even prayed for her when I saw she was a Calvinist because she had a true testimony for the Lord and because of her seeking truth God showed her the error of Calvinistic teachings. God is good like that❤️

Non-calvinist here. Our family had to recently walk away from our church after ten years because of stealth calvinism. Never saw it coming. Grief stricken but thankfully the Lord has moved us into a wonderful new church family. Thanks for sharing 🥰

We are in a Calvinist church. We have been with this church for about 25 years. We have never agreed with the teaching, but it didn't always come up, but when it did it was very hard for us. We finally came across Leighton and others, praise God. Just like Alana we don't want to invite anyone to our church. It is so sad!

I went through this recently. I spent years in a Calvinist church and grew more and more disillusioned and bitter week by week. It was an incredible strain on our marriage. I finally had enough and left it 6 months ago. My wife stayed at the old church while I looked for a new one (what a long process!), and I finally did recently. I am so thankful to once again be attending services with my wife, and our marriage is so much better now that we are no longer "unequally yoked".

That God could be considered just, while punishing those born blind for the fact they could not see, was the snag in my Calvinism. I got my hands on "Willing to Believe" by RC Sproul (RIP) so I could get an answer (it came up during a Ligonier panel, and RC danced around it in my mind..) so I could UNDERSTAND. Surely RC Sproul knows the answer! My question was presented in the chapter "Arminius, " but there was no answer. Could I know more than these great minds? Could I SEE something they seem not to? I prayed and now found this channel. A 57 year old woman who is no longer a Calvinist I be! *Glory be to God*
