Yes I needed to hear this. I am constantly craving change (not necessarily because I’m dissatisfied but because I’m chasing novelty I think) but process of that change can feel so slow that it’s going backwards and this drives me insane 😂 need to remind myself to be kinder with myself and try to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

It's because I resonate so well with what was said in this short (turned 50 AND got diagnosed and treatment for ADHD this year...) that makes me almost feel lucky that I ended up having multiple sclerosis manifest and forcing me to physically slow down, whether I wanted to or not. It made it impossible to NOT learn to fight the impulse I've had all my adult life, to push myself as hard as possible and be a perfectionist for myself

(Cue the uncomfortable laughter) "What? No, I would never..." Yeah, totally calling me out, bro. Thanks for the advice

I like this but how do I stop feeling like I'm being graded for everything I do?

Great! After 32 years of mastering perfection I've started psychotherapy — and now I can not stop to chase play days 😂

I like this one. Now that I've gotten older I'm not as spontaneous as I used to be. I wasn't really chasing the high back then it was just there. But the idea of that person being "irresponsible" makes me keep to myself more. The problem is when I do let go it usually goes south and I end up feeling more shameful for being so "irresponsible". I have to stop trying to catch up to the person that I thought is should be by now.

The message I needed to hear. I am not diagnosed clinically but I knew there was something off, I am never satisfied nor finishing projects. I posted 3 videos on my channel and today I am struggling to film the 4th

I wish you used more realistic visuals. Because I don't know anyone with ADHD whose life looks like THAT.

ADHD for me is knowing everything I need to achieve my full potential (most would settle at my point in life) but not me I’ll because I’ll spend 2 hours going through a million things then wake up dislexoc asking questions like what was it that that girl Dee Mentioned earlier?
Fuck wrong era 🤦‍♂️
Wrong testament 🤷‍♂️
I thought this was the BCSD chat ffs 🤦‍♂️
