Eckhart Tolle on the Key to True Peace & Having a Spiritual Awakening

In this brief yet profound teaching, Eckhart Tolle shares a pivotal moment from his spiritual journey. After a deeply spiritual experience, he sought clarity from a Zen monk and discovered that true spirituality isn’t about thinking less, but about staying present and awake. Eckhart realized that the peace he had experienced was not a result of reducing external noise, but from the quieting of his mind—allowing awareness to arise naturally. This awareness, beyond thought, is where true peace resides.

During a breathworksession I experienced just knowing that every thought I have had about myself and my life was false and it all comes down to a love so great and deep that I can't explain it. This state was with me for a week and slowely fysical life came all over me again. I just want to go back to that awareness I had there and that deep state of love that flowed through me ❤ Anyway it has changed my life 🙏 So grateful.

Awareness but not thinking is happening in a peaceful state. It is like being a wittness of life, an observer, a listener without effort. My happy place😊

Numerous things happened to or for me in 2012, one of which was going through his “A New Earth” line and verse, taking copious notes, reviewing and over again.

There have been ebbs and flows, much more the former due to multi-generational abuse, trauma and hardship and it’s many factors.

Very hard.

But in watching his “teachings” finding comments and remarks with which I relate and in speaking with others, I have learned numerous important “things”.

Sometimes, though, I feel so overwhelmed with the multi-generational nonsense I feel like quitting, as I often don’t know what to do other than persevere.

His mini meditation is excellent exercise for me . Makes me to “not thinking” state of mind. Great stress relief and it’s so easy to, though I have exercised different meditation techniques for over 30 years, mini meditation is the best for me . Thanks Meister Eckhart 😊

I experienced a dramatic reduction in my conceptual thinking after Tolle. However, even though there may not be thoughts I still experience anxiety. Even without the thoughts being attached from it. It has reduced a lot, but sometimes it just happens out of nowhere.

I get anxiety in the quiet of the mind, just perceiving. I don't feel peace I feel extreme emptiness. In my experience unless I direct my thoughts towards thoughts of love light gratitude etc, I feel like life is totally meaningless. Anyone feel me? I love Eckhart Tolle but that's the one thing I have not been able to get past. The absence of thought is hollow... I don't sense a peace there... why
