He said ‘All religions at their core have a basic truth’ in this clip. Which I completely believe. I have friends who are Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and Hindu. They are all spiritual, peaceful and incredible people. They have found a belief system which works for them positively. They don’t judge me because I respect all religions equally.

But for a person to state ‘My religion is the correct religion and all others are incorrect’ is coming from ego. We all have a different perception of reality and that’s okay.

He's not saying he's right, he's essentially saying that religions separate people instead of uniting them which he said at the beginning: religions at their core have a basic truth. He never cancelled believers nor made himself the one who's correct.

In order to fully understand what Eckhart is saying, it helps to first understand the difference between esoteric and exoteric teachings found in religions. Without this understanding of form vs formless, everything that he’s saying will be lost on us.

Eckhart is not speaking from any religious or dogmatic perspective, or from any conclusion, so he can’t say that his beliefs are better than others. He is capable to look at religions through an objective eye, because if there is something true you can find it whatever the culture or religion, just putting convictions aside and see.

Eckhart didn't say that his spirituality is the one right spirituality. At least the video didn't show this. As long as I know Eckhart, he never said this or will say because people with a strong ego would never recognize his own ego. The other is always wrong. That is why if Eckhart is talking about ego is because he recognize the ego on himself, and what he is saying is not a egoic Thing. I think this guy is trying to make a way around and diminish and tarnish his image. He has more ego than Eckhart because the ego always wants to be right and never recognize itself
