When Eckhart explained the real meaning of gratitude, it reminded me of what some Christian friends told me about the term, "fear of God." It doesnt mean to be afraid of God, but rather to observe God's creation and have a sense of awe and wonder for it, like we all did when we were children.

You are the light of the world. That's the last thing he said in this video. You don't hear that too often. I love it. I've read most of his books but I'm finding that these videos give me a much better way to put awareness into my life. He showed me with the flower, the glass of water, the room. Three examples of how to be present with tips to not stay in a thought, let the thought go. Then asks if I'm aware of the awareness in me. Then I started to try and sense this as I'm watching the video as he asks it. I need to practice sensing this awareness instead of all the other things I've been practicing. Why have I not been watching these videos all along? No idea. My ego probably doesn't approve. lol.

I have my own meditation where I leave my earthly body leaving my soul free to climb above the clouds into the beauty of the cosmos. Facets of colour joy pure love envelop me. I look down at the World and wonder what I was ever worried for! I feel at one with our life force, at peace.
