Just found you. I now understand why people have always reacted to me the way they do. I’m not odd after all. Not Autistic, not quirky, not special, not deaf, not sad, not insane. I’m just the child I always was when I first stood looking up to the clouds and asked myself “Why can’t I hear the incessant noise around me” Now I know it’s because I was in my moment. Amazing that I had the knowledge to know myself at that young age.

Eckhart speaks of when he came to consciousness- he was tired of self. That is what happened to me too-I wasn't tired of life, I was tired of myself.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

I think it's brilliant that Eckhart had realized the two selves within himself and suddenly understood which one to let go of, our self identifying one, the one that creates most of our unhappiness and suffering. So therefore, awakening is a realization that frees us from the ( ego trap ) and catapults us into a higher state of consciousness where we then know ourselves as the awareness that is aware of itself, and by realizing this we become a lot more happier and at peace with ourselves in the present moment. Thanks again Eckhart.

I think when we are ready, we reach that point that we literally cannot take it anymore, that then becomes the opening for transformation. I think it has happened to many of us and will happen to more as they become ready. As Eckhart said, suffering is our best teacher and when I look back at my life, I see that without the suffering I’d highly unlikely be here now. Thank you Eckhart much love and respect to you ❤

The idea that feeling we are the thoughts or emotions is an illusion created by the ego is central to many spiritual traditions. Consciousness itself, as you pointed out, remains untouched, unchanging, and free from any identification, attachment, or transformation. It is the ego, a construct of the mind, that creates the illusion of identification with thoughts and emotions. Consciousness is the constant, silent witness to these experiences, always present but never involved in the mental or emotional fluctuations.

This perspective helps in cultivating awareness of the ego’s role in creating attachment and identification, encouraging a deeper recognition of consciousness as pure awareness. It also suggests that true freedom lies in realizing that we are not the thoughts, emotions, or the ego but rather the consciousness that observes them. This can lead to a more peaceful and liberated state of being.

The power of now, it changed my life and I highly recommend listening to an hour or 2 a day, it’s aweamazingly beautiful to go deeper and deeper into the understanding of it having more and more light bulb moments on the same sentences bc you’re feeling the inner body (chapter 6… changed my life) and not listening to the ego say, “I have heard this before!” Bc you will always hear something new and then hear it all with a deeper perspective and it’s literally mind blowing! Blessings of peace, harmony, love and joy and all your hearts desires manifest in perfect divine timing!🙏

This man is a genius. It’s so important to LIVE THIS. the teachings are more valuable than anything in our world. Quality of life is always primary and essential like rainfall or the forests or the sky. Just go out and look. Observe the sky. That is the goodness of life. The now. Rejoice because of the unknown. Ride that wave of the present unfolding of life. It’s glory. It’s truth. Rejoice as this is the great victory over existence - rejoicing in the present.

Appreciating the distinction between consciousness and thinking is truly revolutionary. Understanding our essential nature as pure consciousness - “ the eternal witness of all thought and action “ - is spiritual rebirth / awakening / self realisation, and permits detachment . I can now understand opening the Buddhist “Doors of Liberation “ - No self, No form, No aim - involves Conciousness stepping out from the prison of thought .

the best pointer books, have been, are those of Eckart Tolle and a collection of dialogues (he did not write any book) by Robert Adams, a collection that took the form of a book: "The Silence of the Heart". All the rest are empty words. I often pick up "the Power of now" or "A new earth", especially when I understand that I am about to be drawn into my life situation and everything becomes very clear and quiet in me

This guy is amazing and will help many people find their true selves. Just been reading a book called the Three Pillars of Zen, which appears to be basically the same thing.
