Really appreciate you saying how to modify it if you’re hypermobile! I struggle with overextending in a lot of stretches and getting injured so it’s nice when guides say how to prevent that!

This is what a lot of people miss when doing yoga. It’s the activation of the muscles that make the asana not just the shape of the pose

I've been trying to keep my stretchs at least 4 times a week. I did noticed a improvement on my flexibility (I can touch my toes now!) but I am always afraid I am doing it wrong and will snap my spine at any second.

This is the only way I’ve ever stretched. I never knew you could stretch without flexing… B) ahead of the game

Thank you for the hypermobility mod! And for all the great videos. You rock 🧡

Apparently passive active stretching is even better. Going beyond your active limits, and supporting yourself like a passive stretch while contracting the muscle

I don't know how normal this is but i can do a flexing postion that makes people squimish. basically i do a W with my body. I sit on my leg and slowly pull them out to the side or i have my leg to the side and slowly go to the ground.

DONT DO THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO THE GYM. THIS TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTS CROSSED MUSCLE FIBERS INCREASING RISK OF INJURY/ PULLING/ TEARING A MUSCLE
