thank you! I edited the same video 3 times because of crashing. It normally takes 1 hour to do so, but with the crashing it took 4!

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!! I'm going to try this when I get home.... especially after spending over 10 hours on what ended up being a 6 second clip. Was considering deleting the program and just using my old 2013 version instead. Really hoping this fixes my freezing and crashing issues.

For those of you who can't find "Internal", hold the Shift key BEFORE clicking Options and at the bottom below Preferences you'll see Internal. And if you don't see TRUE and FALSE, remember TRUE has a value of 1 and FALSE has a value of 0

2:25: In vegas pro 20 it is called Hardware Decoder for So4 Compound Reader and as Value there is "1", I set it to "0" i.e. disabled, while "2" should be "AUTO".
I hope they solve the unexplained freeze problems for version 20 as well, and hope I don't have to disable the hardware acceleration on my 4060ti

yo sigo teniendo el mismo problema, y no he encontrado un video con la solucion, mi error es el siguiente

En un momento totalmente aleatorio, basicamente vegas se empieza a trabar, por asi decirlo delay, doy click a una parte del video, y lo hace 1.5 segundos despues, y es muy tedioso porque va muy lento, me paso en vegas 17, me pase al 21, y sigue igual, no se si alguien tenga la solucion, o le pase lo mismo
