You have no idea how much I needed to hear this. Currently 8.5 weeks and I feel like the biggest $hit bag. No cleaning, practically no movement off of the couch, and barely eating from having what seems like the worst flu for about three weeks so far. I feel so ungrateful because this process is such a blessing, however I am over it. Thank you for sharing honestly.

Thank you for this video! First trimester can feel so lonely and sad. In the first trimester of my first pregnancy, I remember sitting down in the isle of the grocery store, feeling just horribly sick, and looking around at all the people walking around me. The thought hit me that every person I saw represented some woman’s pregnancy.

So proud of all you other women going through this right now!

9 weeks in and all I can say is I respect all women that have done this. I can’t even make it out my bed to work. I can’t keep nothing down. Constantly rushing to er for Ivs I’m going through it. Ive tried so many suggestions but nothing seems to work I’m so down this is hard like very hard. At the same time all I worry about is if the baby is okay but I’m going through it . Stay strong all you beautiful women

I am literally sobbing watching this. I am 34 and about 9 weeks into my first pregnancy. I have never felt this terrible in my entire life. It's like being hung over every minute of every day. I am a physician and i have been caring for pregnant women for 6 years now without really knowing how terrible you feel even when you are finally able to keep food down. I have tried all the medications (b6, unisome, phenergan, zofran) and home remedies and still am lucky to function at 20% my usual capacity. I finally broke down and bought a median nerve stimulator (like a relief band) which has helped tremendously. I do not think I was prepared for this psychologically and even though my husband is supportive I feel so alone also because as you mentioned it's a bit early to really start sharing with friends and family. I've seen alot of videos recently about surviving the first trimester and am unsure exactly whis one just resonated so strongly but thank you for sharing. We are in the trenches together for sure.

Oh my god, you can’t imagine how much I needed to see and hear this: 1st time pregnant, 8 weeks in and I keep saying « I never want to be pregnant again, please make it stop ». It helps so much to hear about similar experience... I’ll look into the b6 vitamin combo with my doctor!!

Thank you so much for the video.. It's comforting to know that you are not alone.. Did anyone here felt like they lost motivation and feeling kind of depressed in the first trimester?

I’m 5 weeks and keep my eyes open! My first time pregnant. Can’t cook, hard to work and no motivation to workout 😢. Thank you for these tips.

Great advice! I agree that the first trimester is the worst when you feel nauseous 🤢🤮 and noone truly understands unless they've been through! Thank you for sharing! Will definitely share this w with friends.

OMG - this video could not have come at a better time. I'm 8 weeks pregnant, and while it could be much worse, I'm thankful to be working from home during this pandemic because I'm operating at about 30% my normal capacity!

I'm in the 1st trimester of my second pregnancy and sipping water that's cold from the fridge throughout the day has been helping with the sickness

Thank you for this. I have been suffering terribly with all day nausea since 5.5 weeks. I'm currently nearly 11 weeks and am completely exhausted, even on the verge of feeling depressed right now. Unfortunately I have struggled to find much that seems to relieve the nausea, I've been taking two lots of anti sickness tablets which stop the vomiting but controlling the nausea just hasn't happened. The only time I seem to feel okay is when I am asleep! Hopefully soon I'll start to feel even a little but of relief. Sending love to all of us out there suffering xxx

I know this video is 2 years old but I just have to say thank you so much for putting this out there. It’s honestly so comforting to watch when you are in the thick of the first trimester and feeling so sick and alone. I love the tip of the meal replacement shakes!!! I’m going to send my husband out to get some. This is my second pregnancy and I totally forgot how hard the first trimester is!

Ladies, i am with y’all. We will get through this. Honestly I feel like a having a baby dinosaur in my belly and my rip cage is about to explode. I feel sick when I eat and I feel sick when I don’t eat. I can only sleep and eat and feel like shit 😂 11 weeks, hopefully this is changing soon. Sending hugs to everyone ❤

I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant, and what has been helping me massively with nausea is sparkling water with fresh lemon and lime over ice...

I’m really struggling through my first trimester. First pregnancy and I feel horrendous and very down, it’s hard to see a way out or a light at the end. I’ve resorted to medication prescribed by my dot or which makes me feel so guilty but it’s the only way I can get through. Working full time and pregnant in another country where I don’t speak the language nor have anyone for support. It’s good to be reminded that I will get through this and I will feel better again sometime…! Xxx

This is my third baby, I'm 35 and I have never felt sicker. I'm 9 weeks and 5 days today and desperate to find relief. I take a full Unisom at bedtime and that works wonders. I've also started taking half a Phenergan in the mornings. I eat a saltine cracker every 10 minutes, which has probably helped the most. I also eat one to two bowls of cereal in the mornings. I notice I'm sickest at nighttime. It's so tough!! I was sick with my boys, but not this sick. I'm wondering if this is a girl or multiple babies, or maybe it's just because I'm older. Hearing your video helped me feel less alone because my laundry is not done, I wear the same outfit for a few days and I can hardly shower, I'm so sick. Hoping the second trimester is easier!!

This video really helped. I have been having such a first trimester and have been hating myself😞 I can barely get anything done, including doing the dishes, tidying up the apartment, even taking a shower, or even be able to eat full meals without getting nauseous because I’ve been feeling so tired and also sick due to smells coming from god knows where (not from within my apartment). I really needed this and I’m currently crying, because I feel relieved to know that I’m not the only one to go thru this and that it does get better. I’m so glad I found your video❤ thank you for this😁

Currently 7 weeks along and the Unisom/vitamin b6 combo SAVED ME. I can actually function and take care of things without feeling like I'm gonna puke every 5 seconds! & it's easier to eat when the nausea subsides

I’m currently 18 weeks with twins and still waiting for some relief on all the intense pregnancy symptoms. Crackers, cards, salt, and fruit were the only things I could even think about eating. I couldn’t even stomach water so I sipped on lemon water or ginger ale. Thank you doing this video! I feel this is a topic not talked about enough and can be very isolating when you are going through it.
