Healing process of my water colour tattoo

Pretty solid piece, not overworked as people suggest. Its a watercolor tattoo so for that ink to get well packed it has to be a bit heavily shaded, forget the scabbing and focus on the long term healing folks, cant be complaining on everything.

Oh my, it does seem like the artist was heavy handed. It also looked VERY dry, for the next tattoo you get (if you plan on getting more) wear second skin more than you did with this one. (If you used any at all) aquaphor healing ointment works well for keeping it moisturized! At the end it looked pretty faded, but I’m assuming you got a touch up, (who wouldn’t!) other then that, it looks wonderful!

Did you washed it light three times a day and use Aquaphor on it lightly twice a day I do that with all my tattoos I love the color on your tattoo ❤ every artist is different in caring techniques as well just make sure you clean and use a tattoo cream or Aquaphorand always before you wash your tattoo wash your hands everytime ❤ I can’t wait to get another one in November 😊

Looks like your artist was SUPER heavy handed. I got a tattoo a few months ago, my artist was very light handed, and my tattoo barely even scabbed over. It looks great too. So, Im pretty sure this was the doing of heavy handedness. Because it didn't look infected at all, just scabbed over very heavily. Which is due to your artist going way deeper than need be with the needle. I mean the tat looks good once healed, but I would refuse to have anyone thats heavy handed to tat me.
