I didn’t realize it right away and by the time I did, resentment had built to the point that I ended the relationship. Lead by example. That’s what I’m doing in this new dating scenario… thanks to your good advice. Also unlike the last situation where he proclaimed “I love u” then promptly ghosted me… I will NOT think I am “the one” nor that he is “the one”… bcuz that killed me… & at this point I’m not sure how much damage that did to me. We were sharing emotionally, radically. But he just seemed like he was suddenly disengaged and projected his last relationship on to me. I kept saying, I'm not your ex. He couldn’t even see me. I appreciate all of what was mentioned . There are some concerns about whether these points...rules apply to all. People with different backgrounds...or who live in different parts of the world might not be familiar with these 'common sense of dating rules'. Secondly ...this doesn't include people who might have different personality challenges ...or had difficult upbringings. What bout people who just find themselves pulled to someone out of the blue ...finding themselves in love suddenly although they see some of those red flags ...! This is becoming a game ...instead of enjoying being spontaneous and accepting that people are just different!
