Section 436(1) CrPC allows OIC as well to discharge on bond in non-bailable offences as well

Sorry brother...

In BAILABLE offences... Police OR Court is "bound"... ('must' word is used in CrPc) to release you on bail.. Provided the accused is prepared to give bail.

Bail under bailable offence is an Absolute & Indefeasible right.

Thankyou

Wrong, under 437crpc the police as well as the court can grant you bail. 437 says about non bailable offences.

Why police should be given power to give bail, this would increase corruption in police dept.
