If you get headaches mid workout, especially after heavy squats and leg presses; consume 500-1000mg of iodized salt pre workout, hydrate throughout the workout, and consume some natural no sugar added coconut water intraworkout.

I used to cramp like crazy when I trained. Especially if I used an energy drink. Started using a bit of salt before my workouts and the problem stopped

our ancestors did fine working in the fields all day and they didnt have access to any salt, salt was Hard to come by, they used herbs and spices, so not sure whats the need to dump a bunch of salt on everything, its not like we dont get PLENTY and too much in a western diet. it just makes me thirsty as hell and bloated and saps my energy if i have too much of it. You also get plenty in natural meats/ fish/ eggs/ fruit / veggies i guess people forget even eating like that ONLY you will still get 500-800 mg a day

I just want to say guys this is so true. I used to talk shit about people and salt and I thought I knew it all. After I had severe heat exhaustion and a heat stroke. My gf started telling me to finally listen to her on this topic. So I did. I was severely electrolyte deficient. And my dumb ass just kept drinking water “not knowing I was flushing out all my electrolytes” now Im adding potassium, magnesium, sea salt into my water. I make my own electrolyte water/ snake juice. I feel the difference significantly and I’m upset with myself for not allowing myself to try it sooner. I always thought “yeah these people are full of shit salt is horrible for you” 💀💀

Is Sodium that bad for health? Asking this because people have been telling me that I shouldn't eat Instant Noodles (I boil about 2 packs every week and add 2 or 3 boiled eggs and sometimes a type of meat) Eating them I haven't ever really felt bad after except that I'm full lmao.

omg please... EVERYONE gets PLENTY of salt in this day and age, FAR too much if anything, he acting like people feel better if they introduce salt?? HAHA thats just halarious to me as Everyone in the west has 3500-7, 000 mg a day Average. Whats his point, i dont get it, i feel horrible and saps my energy if i go above around 2500 mg, i feel terrible, thirsty, i even get heart palpitations
