Medial Ankle Pain? It's Easy to Fix....

preview_player
Показать описание
Alot of people have pain on the inside of their ankle, even after an ankle sprain. The most common cause for medial ankle pain is tendinitis of Tibialis Posterior tendon, that sits on the medial side of the ankle. Using insoles, taping, icing all help. Also using proper footwear and making sure the arch is supported is important too.

This is helpful information!

I sprained the inside of my ankle twice 2 years ago. My doctor said it looks fine, but the pain is still there every single day.

I will try this. Thank you!

You know ?
What fixed my ankle were exercises and flat shoes. Lots of calf and ankle exercises.
I found the soft shoes with arch support felt good while I was wearing them and the terrible when I wasn't . I guess do what works for you

Hey doc I’m just getting to rehabbing my severe ankle injury 2.5 years after initial onset. I know, I’m stupid for waiting this long. My question, is it best to ice or heat after sustaining an injury that long ago?

Isnt inflammation part of the healing process, doesnt ice slow inhibit inflammation therefore inhibit the healing process? Shouldnt ice be for pain management alone?

I have some insoles called footprint gamechangers, you put them in the oven and they mould to your feet, watch the tests of the insoles
