You had me worried with the title but I am thankful that you adhere to Pauline doctrine which are the very words of Christ given by direct revelation from Christ to Paul for us on the subject of baptism & in all manner of faith & practice for our building up in the gospel through the knowledge, understanding & edification as the Body of Christ. Great teaching!

The thief on the cross was never baptized. The Bible gives us the answer. Baptism is not required

In my opinion, water baptist and the baptism of the Holy Spirit work together. Three things necessary for salvation: water baptism, Holy Spirit baptism for the instant regeneration of the person's spirit and faith for the heart by which one ought to walk and live by everyday.

Each corresponding to the salvation of the spirit, soul and body thus I see these corresponding to the trinity of a person the spirit, soul and body.

If you observe careful not one of these three things was neglect in the book of Acts: faith; water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible also talks about the three that bears witness on the earth. 1 John 5:8
[8]And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

When Peter preached to Cornelius, they received the Holy Spirit before water baptism, yet even then he still regarded water baptist as essential.

Its how I understand the scriptures the baptism has its own trinity of Spirit baptism, water baptism and faith of the heart. I believe that this is what is meant by one baptism.

Thanks for sharing I'm still learning and hoping to understand things more in depth 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Ephesians 1:13-14
"In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory."

This is just another example quite common among the Churchians in Churchianity that exemplifies the “need” to do something for God, and to contribute our 2 spiritual cents to justify our free salvation.

It’s the epitome of Col. 2:20-23:

“If you have DIED (something that happens INTERNALLY, from the HEART, and not in religious dead works) with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you SUBMIT yourself to decrees, such as, ‘Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!’ [which all refer to things destined to perish with USE (such as baptism as illustrated with the crucified thief)]—in accordance with the commandments and teachings of MAN? These are matters which do have the APPEARANCE of wisdom in SELF-MADE RELIGION.”

I chose to be baptized in public to DECLARE my allegiance to Christ, and identity myself with His death and Resurrection, but certainly not to please a group, religion, denomination, or by what some uninformed bible illiterate pastor or preacher “thinks, opines, or believes.”

Therefore,

“Let NO ONE act as your JUDGE in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day—(or baptism for that matter) things which are only a SHADOW of what is to come; but the SUBSTANCE belongs to Christ.”

You don't understand 1 Pet 3:21. Baptism saves through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. You are adding to the word. The good conscience is through the removal of sin. You teach baptism is a empty ceremony. You add more confusion and denial of the plain teachings of the Holy Spirit.

SUGGESTION: You need to speak louder in future videos. I have by computer sound and my head set sound turned up all the way and I can barely hear you.

You are in error when you indicate that baptism is a work of merit. Baptism in water and the Spirit go together (Jn 3:5-8).

This is wrong brother, you must be born of God, you must be baptized by the Holy Spirit. This is the only type of baptism that saves. The internal baptism, which seals you with the Holy Spirit Eph.1:13 …

Act 22:12  And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
Act 22:13  Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
Act 22:14  And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
Act 22:15  For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
Act 22:16  And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Who has been baptized by the Holy Spirit the way it is described in Acts...with mighty rushing wind and cloven tongues of fire resting on their heads, then speaking in tongues? All of the elements would need to be present in order for it to be biblically correct. I've personally never seen that happen.

That is because those were special circumstances for rhe beginning of the gospel being preached. First to the Jews in Acts 2, then to the Gentiles (Cornelius and his household). That powerful and visisible/audible baptism of Holy Spirit is only mentioned twice. It did not happen like that at any other time.

Acts 2:38-39 tells us that when we are water baptized, THEN God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit. Water baptism MUST come first and only then we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is absolutely essential if we want the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is given to us when we get into the water. Acts 2:38-39 prove that fact.

The mighty rushing wind and fire on the heads baptism were special, isolated events that ushered in the beginning of the New Testament covenant for the Jews first, and then the Gentiles. Those special baptisms opened the door for everyone else to be baptized with water for the purpose of having our sins forgiven AND for God to seal us with the Holy Spirit.

Unless one has been immersed in a mighty rushing wind and had cloven tongues of fire on their heads and instantly started performing miracles...then they have not had the "baptism of the Holy Spirit".

The reason why we do not see that today, is because those were only 2 isolated instances recorded in the Bible. There was a purpose for those instances. And... interesting to note that the Holy Spirit baptism recorded in those two accounts did not wash away their sins. Only water baptism washes away sins. We cannot go to heaven with our sins. ❤

Also: we are commanded to be baptized. That means we must "do" something. Paul was told to "arise and be baptized to wash away his sins"...he had to get up and get into the water. We are commanded to do the same thing (Acts 2:38-39 tells us it is for us, today). How can we abey the command to "arise and be baptized to have our sins forgiven" if all we need to do is nothing but believe and wait for the mighty rushing wind and cloven tongues of fire to rest upon our head? That does not make sense. The two times it happened in the New Testament, the people it happened to did not arise and ask for the Holy Spirit to baptize them. It happened without warning. The people were surprised BOTH times. It was a surprise gift from God. He is the one who decided when that happened. But in order for us to obey the gospel call to obey the command to be baptized...that is a decision WE make. God does the work of cleaning us of our sins and giving us the gift of sealing us with the Holy Spirit...but only when we choose Him and get in the water. That is the pattern set all throughout Acts. ALL of the accounts of people being saved in Acts have water baptism. It was a choice they had to make, not a spontaneous, surprise placed on them. We have that same choice today. Get in the water, or not.

Yeah right, you’re not too bright aren’t ya?

I guess, according to your brilliant work, our Lord LIED to the thief on His right since they couldn’t climb down their crosses and get him baptized…

Your dichotomy of water and Spirit is a false dichotomy.

To be baptized of the holy spirit : Romans 10:9.10. No need to confess our sins, no need to repent, just BELIEVE.
