Idk if YouTube is a mind reader but this was the exact video I needed to see today. I'm a fire protection engineer full time at a nuclear facility and have really become disenchanted lately. I keep telling myself to prepare financially to just leave and do what I love which is content creation and helping people grow but as the bread winner in my house with 3 small kids I'm not there yet

However I am hungry for it so I know it will happen soon. I just gotta keep the faith and stay the course

Hey boss. I'm super excited for you that you took the leap of faith! I quit my full time Military Funeral Honors job a year ago to pursue a career as a pilot. I started school again for an Aeronautics degree and currently have a 3.8GPA, while having earned a fixed wing commercial pilot license. I'm getting ready to transition over to rotary wing (helicopters) next month so I can eventually fly cameras around for Hollywood. It's scary as hell sometimes, but being our own boss is such an amazing thing. I've subscribed and will definitely be rooting for you throughout this journey! Fuck yeah Jake! I've been doing my own thing for last 3-4 years and was also doing marketing for various companies. It's definitely more fulfiling + you have so much more time in your day. But you can never really count that if in one month you do $10k, you will do same the next.
