Full UPPER BODY Workout - Day 3 | Yoga by Korrie

Welcome back for DAY 3 of this yoga workout challenge! (See the 7 DAY class schedule Below)
Today we have a full upper body workout. So lots of arm and upper body lovin' here today… I hope you’re excited!
The pace of this class is moderate, with focus on repetitive movement, strength and stretching. We use the foundations of “vinyasa” quite a bit here, which is an excellent type of yoga for building strength in the shoulders and triceps!
Towards the end of the class, there is an option to play with an arm balancing pose (crow). Due to the time/structure of this challenge, the “how-to-crow” instructions are brief. If you are a first-timer with this posture, please proceed with care and caution, and consider instead staying in your yogi-squat, or holding a forearm plank instead. I promise to include a “how-to-arm-balance” segment, in a future Youtube video, cross my heart!

ABOUT THE 7 DAY CHALLENGE:
Reset through movement with this 7 DAY fitness challenge, inspired by yoga. By committing to a week of movement, you’ll be kick-starting a journey that allows you to feel the effects of positive habits, muscles strengthened, and connection to breath.
These 7 days have been designed with time in mind: approximately 20 minutes of effective movement, targeting different spaces of the body each day. This program is for anyone looking for movement motivation; some yoga experience is recommend to enjoy the greatest benefits of this week-long challenge.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: to get the most of our time together, each class jumps RIGHT in to movement. If you have just woken up, or have been sitting a lot throughout the day, we recommend at least 10 minutes of warmup. The idea is, you are landing on your mat warm and ready to move.
STAYING COMMITTED: Maybe you tell your friends, write in on your mirror, set a reminder in your phone, or perhaps you get a group of together to take on 7 days of wellness; regardless of the way, be sure to make this journey yours, and remember to celebrate as you go! FUN FACT: Each class has been filmed in New Zealand. If you haven’t been, these 7 days won’t only have your physically feeling great, but you’ll certainly be planning a trip to this gorgeous country.
