TLDR: In a chemist perspective, eat your carbs together with your protein. You don't want die because of DIEt. Enjoy your food. Healthy is always better than skinny.

Balance protein-based diet with carbohydrates because the main fuel of our brain is glucose or sugars we can get from carbohydrates. The most important priority of the body is to provide fuel for the brain kasi it's the most important organ na kailangan ng high maintain. Napapansin niyo po na when you don't eat enough carbs, the body will be forced to use fats as a fuel to the body. Mag re-release po sila ng ketone bodies o yung substitute ng sugar na makakapasok sa utak natin. Although tinatanggap naman ng utak natin ang ketones, mas prefer at mas effective yung pagfu-function niya if sugar yung fuel niya. Malalaman mo pong ginagamit na ng utak yung ketone bodies instead sa sugar kung amoy acetone na po yung hininga niyo. Ang acetone ay isa sa mga na re-release kasama ng ketones kung nagagamit na yung fats as an energy source.

My LDL went up on keto/carnivore diet. My triglycerides and HDL and HBA1C thyroid vit d CBC and CMP are all good. I already tried eating chia seeds, flax seeds increasing fibers and cutting down on eggs, animal products and saturated fats but it didn’t work. The only way to decrease my LDL is to eat a lot of carbs.😡😡any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Dra. I was just wondering if healthy ba yung hindi na kumakain ng rice pero kumakain naman ng pork, at mga karne. Rice lang at matatamis yung di kinakain. Di po ba yung nakakasira mg kidney?
