I have always been a Schlage person. Had them on every exit door at our old house. She moved into new house in August I put the Schlage locks on two exit doors that work with the app to lock/unlock or set codes to allow access for others if need be. Need a code lock for a closet door with valuables and bought this lock and absolutely love it. The keypad is easier to use than the Schlage I bought.

My kwikset lock not working - no beeps or flash when I touch buttons. I replaced the battery but still nothing. However it does beep when I move lock/ unlock lever on back. I did the factory reset which beeps like it should but then no beep or flash when trying any program functions. Any suggestions?

How does the interior lever work will it unlock itself if pulled down? Have a toddler and dont want them to be able to open door by themselves.
