If you powerbolt 250 retracts the bolt and beeps / blinks red five times after your first code was inserted you likely installed the deadbolt wrong. The bolt needs installed. Then install the outdoor keypad with the bolt retracted. Extend the bolt with the key. Now install the indoor portion of the lock. Your deadbolt should now accept your first code.

It's just beeps 3 times afterwards. Doesn't lock. Acknowledges a code at first. Then three beeps.

first code worked great - can not enter a second code - as soon as i push 1 - the kwikset button flashes red

Is there any trouble shooting as to why this might not be working. Even the manufacturer doesn't know why my programming isn't working

Thanks for the video, just installed a new lock, but I can’t program it, the program button seem dead. I press on it, but it makes no sound
