when i watched this i started laughing. I just bought a phase 4 out of your guys proshop. recognized it immediately. you guys took excellent care of me and I did not feel rushed whatsoever to shoot all the flagships and eliminate decisions as i went. You guys got a customer for as long as i live in the area, much appreciated. loving the phase 4 as well

I completely agree I am still using the V31 And I was really hoping to upgrade to the new hunting bow this year but Without going into their stabilizer system I feel like it's almost pointless and there's no way in hell I'm spending $700 on stabilizers

tons of respect for this honest review. Refreshing to see a dealer be honest on pros and cons of what they are selling.

I appreciate your honesty! I think everyone does and am glad to see a YouTube video finally say what all of us are thinking instead of just “great stuff from Mathew’s. Truly revolutionary” your thoughts are exactly ours. We were hoping for some truly different technology. Didn’t quiet deliver, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good bow. Most of the industry makes the same bow over and over again and changes an inch here an inch there on the riser and puts a different name on it. Nice bow. Nice stabilizers. $700 nice? I don’t think so. I’m sure people will buy the bow. Stabilizers not so sure on.

I swapped from an 80 lb PSE XF33 to the Phase 4 33... Night and day difference in feel and aim and engineering, while only sacrificing 5 lbs of draw weight. XF33 at 80 lbs and 31" shot 540 grain arrows 296... the 75 lb at 31" Phase 4 shot 545 grain arrows at 287... its a no brainer. I chuckle every shot at how quiet and gentle this bow shoots. Massive upgrade over PSE

I appreciate your honesty and not just a mathews fan boy pushing something people can't afford nor need.

After 27 years of shooting 1 brand I thought it was time for change. I shot the demo and ordered the 29 but now I’m starting to second guess myself on this set up. Please run it through the ringer and test that rubber in the cold temperatures. Awesome review. I really appreciate how you always give your honest opinion. 🙌

I am glad they made very little changes. I have the V3X 29 and nothing this year temps me too change.

I always look forward to these reviews the most out of all the YouTube reviews.

I think this release signifies that next year is going to be the change up every one but me has been waiting for.

Appreciate the honesty in the review. The used market for V3X’s is red hot now.

I bought a V3X 33 last year (and just finally finished building it out) and I love it... Shot the Phase 4 33 at my local shop (here in the PNW) and while it was quieter for sure I don't think it's enough to even begin to think of buying one and swapping over all my parts. I'm using the HHA RYZ with the dovetail in the Bridge-Lok system, I've got the detachable Low-Pro quiver and I'm running Shrewd 8* down and their rear bar mounts. To _ME_ Bridge-Lok and the Low-Pro quivers are the most advantageous things Mathews has done in a while. I hunt the PNW mainly in Coastal OR and all over Idaho and some in WA State, I could see building a V3X 29 or even a Phase 4 29 next year just for it's compact size in some of the terrain I find myself in but for the price I don't think I;d ever run their Bridge-Lok stabs.

Another excellent review, bro. Your honesty is why I always check your reviews first. Keep it up. I just shot a decent Texas 10 point with the Vertix you setup for me a few years ago. Shot it on Blake’s Dads new property here.

You are the first person to mention the difference between this bow and the V3. I own both and I can tell the difference.

I appreciate that you waited to make your content until you got your LH. As a lefty, it’s impossible to try these out in a shop. No one wants to bring in LHs for demo.

Elite and bowtech have the ultimate adjustability. Rather have that than 8 limbs. If Mathews cam out with mods that have 1 inch adjustments and lo adjustments that would have been awesome.

I can’t see the new stabilization being more Rock solid then a screw in. Thanks for your review.

Excellent review. You touched on all my concerns about the Phase 4. 💯 agree that the $700 stabilizer system is going to hurt Matthews. I’m getting a new bow this season and on the fence on a few. I would love to hear what you have to say about the new Elite Omnia.

Bowtech did something new as well as elite. Both made a carbon for the first time. Bowtech dropped a cam with adjustable timing on the reckoning gen2.

Thanks for the honest review. It's crazy with inflation etc the cost for stabilizers would be so high. I guess that's high anytime, lol. I agree with not many changes. The elite was interesting with Leitoff adjustable by 1% increments, but that's it. Hey, point of suggestion for your channel. Share your hunts with folks. I know you mentioned Wyoming this year, late blacktail, etc. A way to personalize the channel, or maybe I'm just curious and enjoy hearing stories from content providers. Most likely the latter, lol. Anyway, it's a great channel, and I appreciate your honest reviews. You definitely don't see that often.

Great take man, thank you. Was on the fence between this and a new prime. I’m goin with the prime. Can’t justify stabilizer price and don’t wanna be the ginnea pig on the new limb system.
