Can you guys do a 60# 27” draw speed test starting with a 350 grain arrow and maybe a 65# 27” draw speed test starting with a 375-400 grain arrow and then perform the same tests with a 30” draw. I know I’m curious and I feel like there’s a lot more guys shooting lower poundage versus 70+. Just an idea

My 11 year old pse is shooting a 575 grain arrow at 268 fps with a 29 inch draw and 71 pounds. I feel like archery equipment really hasn't done much in terms of progression in the last decade.

I shoot a touch heavier arrow set-up out of my recurve and get pass through's no problem on whitetail at only 160fps

I could imagine the driving powers of that arrow at those speeds from that compound.
Should be able to hunt about anything that walks with that setup...lol

So what speed dont kill accuracy does i shot recurve when i was a kid slow bows but hit and killed what i was aiming at .

That's slow. My 33 evo XF s2 30" 540 is at 290!

Why is anyone in 2024 with these new bows shooting any arrow above 450 grains? Does anyone do the basic math on draw length and poundage for the arrow they choose to shoot
