The time has finally arrived, the new Mathews PHASE 4 bow has been released! We were lucky enough to get our hands on this bow before the launch to do some testing of our own. Thank you for the thoughtful and thorough review. I tend to shoot my bows for about a decade before upgrading. Then I shoot each flagship model to see which one shoots the best for me. In doing it this way, I get my money worth from the bow I initially purchased and have a real chance for improved performance - given the length of time that has elapsed between purchases.

Unless something amazing comes out for 2024 I will have a phase 4 33. Shot it at the bow shop and man that thing just sits on the target. So nice. Settled way better than my v3 31 and I loved that bow.

Looks like a nice bow... but ill be sticking with my 31. Looks like the tech has really hit a wall. I used to buy new every year but unlike my rifles, bows depreciate to much, lol. Always look forward to these new bow vids!

Preliminary results on the noise level over on elkshape’s channel said it’s 4-5 dB quieter than the outgoing model. THAT’S SIGNIFICANT

Bought one as soon as I could shot the piss out of it and sold it…….decided last year to make the switch to the V3x 33 and I’ve been in love with it since. But honestly I can’t feel or see much difference. If your making the jump from an older bow then this is a great choice but last years are practically the same and cheaper.

I wonder when the measurements switch from “vibration free dead in the hand” to “ “new negative vibration measurement” where the vibration in the bow is only caused by the own Body movement.

8 limbs…I’m wondering how they would all wear evenly and always have the same force. Seems like it would b easier to get things out of whack. I remember the days when Mathews bashed split limb bows due to them negatively affecting cam lean.

Still waiting, my halon 32 will stay. I shoot it without stabilizers and it’s balanced and dead in the hand. Cannot beat it

Hey guys, I am looking at purchasing my first bow. I have next to zero experience with archery. Would the PHASE 4 be a good starter bow? Also, I don't want to buy a cheap bow, then have to upgrade later on.

How have you modified your trophy taker rest? How do you remove the cage without losing the rubber stoppers for the launcher to rest on? Thanks

Does the bow in this exact review have the 12 inch bridgelock stabilizer on the front and the 10 inch on the back???

Comes out with new way to mount sight and stabilizer, now the “old” technology flaws smh…I’m not convinced. Like dude said, do the deer care how much vibration or how you mount your sight or stabilizer?
