We ARE to keep The Law to show Our OBEDIENCE and that we LOVE HIM...

We are to live by faith and be obedient to God through love because of who He is and what He's done.

Anyways we should keep the laws as good as we can and fight against sin and the devil as long as we breathe

So as a Sign of our Salvation given to us by our Redeemer, we strive to Keep the Laws, Statutes and Ordinances of the Torah thru Gratitude, Repentance, and making Amends in our Thoughts and Actions...😊

“If you love me, keep my commandments…” it’s not required for salvation but we should follow the law out of Love for God because his Law is good.

Salvation can be a tricky word. Many think of it as a singular point in time, while I view it as being on YHWHs path to life... Only he can pull us up out of the pit of sin and bring us to his narrow path. Once on it we see the guardrails of his commandments all along the path, and thankfully we have the testimony of Yeshua to look at, and see how we ought to be living, and we have the deposit of Yahweh Spirit upon us to help us to walk and obey. But if we willfully choose to continue sinning we are walking off of that path and back into the pit of sin. So while gaining our initial salvation to the path is by Grace through faith alone. Remaining on the path requires our active obedience, and repentance when we do. Jeanne

So what I'm seeing is that. You get grace which is freely given to those based of their faith and Faith is built by your righteousness and your righteousness comes from following GOD's Laws (commandments). So, I'm going to do my best to follow God's laws.

I can't say that I 100% agree with what/how you said that.

After salvation, you keep it to maintain salvation.

Confusing concept takes study and application to understand the nuanced differences. God expects us to do the commandments with all our might. He does not expect perfection. Be authentic in your pursuit of righteousness. You must carry your own cross, God knows your heart. Just be real in your pursuit of righteousness

Keeping the law of Elohim is required.
Is our gift of salvation slash start over free. yes it is.
Matthew chapter 7 and Matthew 25 are clear on this.
Just a few among hundreds of scriptures

Jesus tells us throughout all of the NT to keep the law. We keep Gods law simply because we want to, not because we have to.

Folks should read Psalm 119 - it’s pretty darn clear, Isaiah 56, Isaiah 58, Deut, Levit - Yah says it’s FOREVER- for ALL who are called by His name.

When the man comes up to YAHUSHA and ask him what must I do to inherit eternal life and YAHUSHA starts listing the commandments

Can you have salvation without repentance? Can you repent acknowledging and choosing Gods law?

I question this because of the definition of sin. Which is transgression of the LAW.

119 please clarify keeping of the Law after faith/trust by grace. If we don't keep/try to keep to obtain salvation, why does one keep it after?

What other context is there? When Yahusha was asked what commandments needed to ne kept, he replied love Yahuah and love others as yourself. He said if one did this, they fulfilled the entirety of the law.

What makes more sense is that Christ instituted a new law to accompany His new covenant with us. Some parts need not change from the old, like the Decalougue, but other parts are dissolved and reinstituted. Jesus is the new king, the Apostles are the new sons of Isreal. Peter is the Prime minister (whatever Aliakim was in the book of Isaiah) and the eucharist is the new sacrifice, offered in the Church, the new temple.
