when my laptop started behaving strangely, i really thought somehow bios is messed up, i will have to take it to the service center. Dell Latitude e7240, power button light was on the whole time, even pressing power button was not helpful. Watched your video, removed batter and power cord, pressed power button for 1 min and BOOM, it was fixed. Thanks man!

it's amazing how simple some of these common issues are to fix. I had one guy charge me like 45 bucks to switch out a piece for my charger that I had bought. the same issues happened again and I opened my laptop and fixed it myself in less than a minute

Worked! Thanks! Did not have to remove battery. Just held down power button for, almost exactly, 1 powered right up.... works gonna avoid all potential static situations from now on for sure.
