Dell Laptop Won't Turn On ! Laptop Not Turning On Dell

This video will show you how to fix laptop not turning on Dell.
1. Disconnect the AC adapter or power cord 00:21
2. Remove the battery 00:26
3. Press and hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain residual power 00:34
4. Reconnect the AC adapter and the battery 00:52

My battery is non removable so I just pressed power button for 15 seconds and my screen started updating and then started automatically! Thanks bro u saved my money

I have a Dell Latitude 7420 and this worked for me!!
The Dell Latitude 7420 doesnt have a removeable battery, but when I held the power button down for 20 seconds, closed it, opened it, and turned it back on it lit up right away!!
I put my laptop to sleep, left it charging all night, woke up to it not working and you helped me so much!!!

BTW theres a Dell official support video on here that doesnt help anyone experiencing this problem, so thanks!

Thanks buddy, my LT just stucked and hold the power button for 15 secs and it was off and again press the power button once and it restarted with a command of Low Battery issue, hence connected and solved this issue... Thx again.

My laptop power is on. Fan is running. But, no display. In such issue, can I connect the laptop with an external monitor to check it's okay? Now, if there's display what does that signify?
