Please be cautious when using IPA near your laptop's screen. Do not pour it directly onto the surface! Use only minimal amount and apply with paper towel or cloth. If some amount of isopropyl alcohol gets under your screen it's going to leave visible marks on LCD forever, because it is reacting with light scattering film under the screen. I learned it the hard way, do not make my mistake.

Good video but may be too much for me to do. This just happened to my wife's laptop. Wondering the cost of repair. For now, she just leaves it open since it normally just sits on a desk for use. We're very careful with our things. Not sure how this happened.

The hinge broke on both my HP 15 & 17 inch laptops. Other HP laptop owners have had the same problem. I found on the Internet, a 1st class action law suit has been filed.
