60 Minute Vinyasa to Yin Yoga (Vin to Yin Series Pt 9)

This is a 60 minute vinyasa to yin yoga practice. Part 9 of the Vinyasa to Yin series of classes. This practice combines a 30 minute slow, heat building vinyasa flow followed by 30 minutes of Yin Yoga postures. Focusing on your spine and hips, class explores variations on sun salutes A and B, peaking in a flowing sequence of standing postures before making your way down to the floor for the Yin sequence. The Yin postures include, Dragonfly Pose, Sphinx/Seal, Thread the Needle, Supported Bridge. Close practice with a golden thread breathing meditation and shavasana. An equal balance of warming vinyasa and deep release in the Yin postures that will leave you feeling mellow and mobile.
For practice you may wish to have a block or a few folded blankets for support in the Yin portion of class.
