Also known as YouTube Red, this is one of my favorite subscriptions. You might think the benefits of YouTube Premium just comes down to the ability to watch YouTube with no ads. But there are some other awesome YouTube Premium features as well!

If you're wondering 'What is YouTube Premium?' - it's a YouTube subscription that gives you access to YouTube Music, the YouTube Originals series, the ability to download YouTube videos and more. Plus the YouTube Premium cost is fairly low given all the great features you get access to.

I’ve been a YouTube Premium subscriber for years, and it’s the only video service I’m paying for. It really made the viewing experience far more satisfying. I also love the background play, which comes in handy with videos that do not require me to watch, and also picture-in-picture is handy too, though I wish it was a bit more consistent on my iPad.

I drive a lot, and I prefer to listen to videos like this one. I put them in a Playlist, and having premium means I don't have to dangerously fiddle with my phone to skip ads while I'm driving. It's absolutely perfect!

NGL Youtube Premium is expensive. I only want "no ads, background play, download video for offline". I don't need youtube music. So they should make cheaper plan like 5 bucks for youtube video premium.

It went from $11.99 US in November 2022 to $13.99 US as of January 7th, 2024. Not so sure it's worth it anymore. But hey, each their own.

If you use YouTube a lot, then in my opinion it is. I like how it still plays when the app is minimized. Love not having ads. Crazy we pay for a bit more mental peace without ads.

I'm a subscriber and small time creator. We have the family package and for us it's been a great decision. We've cancelled some previous music streaming services which helped the decision. Interesting to see where paying to watch 4K content goes (I do upload in 4K)
There's definitely a new level of enjoyment watching YouTube without breaks 👍👍

I got YouTube premium for Cobra Kai. Never canceled it even after I finished watching and don't regret it. Every once in a while I'll be in someone's office and they load up YouTube and I see just how different an experience it is when you're inundated with ads. No ads is worth the price.

App I use to consume video content so watching it without the ads was a game changer.

I've been on youtube premium for years and yes its an absolute no-brainer. I have found that youtube music has everything, whereas Spotify etc all have a few blind spots. And not having to see ads? I can't believe its not more popular. I literally don't know anyone else who is a subscriber. People say 'watch this', and we sit through an ad while I tell them they don't actually have to. And still they don't sign

Threatening to force to pay or watch scam ads, or face termination is why I'm disliking this video. Plus, the service price went up to $14 per month or face bans for using Adblockers is what's gonna cause the FTC to hit Google with sanctions against them.

Why don't you mention ad blockers? And the biggest ad on youtube, is the sponsors that the content creators talk about in their videos.

Hell yeah I have YouTube Premium. Been subscribed to it ever since it was first introduced as YouTube Red and I did it solely to get rid of the ads. I've been without YouTube ads for so long, I sometimes forget that there are ads on the platform that I'm completely bypassing.
