As much as I hate the censorship YouTube engages in, the premium membership is well worth it to me. I’m a lab tech and I stream music and videos all day long at work. Premium gives me endless hours of entertainment without commercials and I can turn my phone screen off and still listen while I’m working. Also, they sent me a Google nest or mini or whatever it’s called for being a member for some amount of time. I don’t use it and I immediately gave it away to a coworker, but I thought it was nice.

I had 144, 877 minutes listening in one year on Spotify. I paid 9.99 US dollars per month. I have the year-end email as proof of how often I listen to music. I switched to youtube premium for 11.99 US dollars per month. Youtube has the same songs plus extra songs that can't be found on Spotify. I listen to music ALOT. Youtube is superior

i’ve had youtube premium for probably like 15 months and i’ve thought about unsubscribing because the monthly fee at times doesn’t seem worth it but going back to ads almost seems impossible. and youtube is like my cable. so i use it so much everyday. definitely worth it if you can afford the monthly fee!

Ad-free of course doesn't include the increasing number of promotions that channels stick in the middle of their content.

I’m ngl I never thought I’d say it but once you get it u get so use to the no ads and minimising the screen feature that u can’t go back. I went back and it was extremely irritating.

I live in London but I done my premium in turkey with Turkish card which in English money costs me 1.40 per month

Just increased price. Mine going from $18au to $33au a mth. 1st increase in several years however I would have been happy to pay small increases over the years rather than almost doubling it. They got me over a barrel with the family subscription but Im pushing back. I will no longer rent their movies, looking at other data storage options & will never buy their phones again though my partner will happily stop using it because it always causing her grief. Love affair is over.

Well its not "is it worth" but its necessety at this point. Watching, documentary and hit with double ads 3times in 10minutes is bizzare. But hope they don't spike prices, if they do fo 50% or sth...hope Rumble and other platforms starts taking over.
