I just canceled it after having it for a good 7 years. I was already upset when it was $11.99. But yes it was over $13. I do like some of the features they added and bringing along YouTube Music. But I had to cut something because I was beginning to overpay for things. So I'm willing to listen to all alternatives because I don't like the fact that I'm going to have to be inundated with too many ads.

My only gripe is how Google and most others make it so difficult to change your type of plan, especially going from family to individual or from monthly to yearly payments. It seems asinine to have to cancel a service to change a payment plan, but clearly I know that's what you have to do. I think a lot of people get concerned about losing their data and their song lists.

Man, here in Hong Kong they increased the family plan from HKD 98 (USD 12.50) to HKD 138 (USD 17, 70)... We cancelled our subscription... ☹️

There are premium ad blockers that run as low as 4.99/mo and yt still charges more than double that. I'll pay yt when their price point settles down to less than $5/mo

I use to only get charged $11 a month for youtube premium for just myself. Now all of the sudden I'm now getting charged $14.88 a month. I use Android. Youtube premium was barely worth $11. For something like this. The price should never be increased. GOOGLE TOOK AWAY FREEDOM OF SPEECH ON YOUTUBE & HIKED THE PRICE. Is there a better platform than Youtube I can go to?
