Do YOUR KIDS have consequences if they choose not to do their chores?!

We try to teach our kids accountability and that every choice they make has a consequence. Whether it be good or bad choices, there’s always an effect of the choice.

Molly chose to not do dishes last night, which means she loses ALL technology for that day and she has to get the chores done before going outside to play.

We don’t yell at or spank our kids, so we have found that doing things this way shows them that THEY are making the CHOICE, even though they know the consequences of their choice.

Honestly, it’s really worked! The last time she chose not to do her chore was about 6 months ago 😂.

We want our kids to learn through their own choices, when they are an adult they’ll understand cause and effect and how the choices they make impact them in the future.
