Well technically Jesus founded the church not Paul or a pope.. the catholic church condone idol worship and other extrq biblical teaching.. the true church is not one particular denomination but the community of all who serve christ in the spirit and the truth (based on the bible).. amoung them born again catholic or even messianic jews. I am a pentacostal but foremostly christian jesus follower no denomination can take dominion over christ or the spirit the true church is ruled by the holy spirit and is true to scripture. And is a humble crowd washing the feet of other believers! Litteraly and figurativly. your pride reveals you dont know christ in his fullness and that for instance pride have to die in your heart in order for thr spirit to move in your life.. Your life is ruled by manmade doctrine not spirit who good shape you to true christlikeness.

Good afternoon Sami, what is you definition of the Catholic Church? I'm often curious, are you and other Catholics referring to the Roman Catholic Church? Or Catholic in the universal sense? Since the definition of Catholic means universal. What would you say to someone that tells you the Catholic Church was heavily influenced by Constantine and Roman pagan beliefs? Lastly, if this is true that could be view as the pagan beliefs of that time were "christianized" and/or the Chistian beliefs were "paganized". How could something like that be view as the one true church? Curious on your thoughts. Grace and Peace
